Dr. Aanand Narsing Pawar
Mechanical Engineering Department has started its journey in 1955 with intake of regular shift of 90 and second shift intake of 60 started from year 2010. Department has got NBA accreditation in Year 2003, New Delhi for 5 Years. Institute was awarded Academic Autonomy in 1996 by Government of Maharashtra. Department delivers Outcome based Education to the students. Mechanical Department runs in two shifts (Morning and Afternoon)

Center of excellence for employability and entrepreneurship through blended learning, incubator and collaborative practices.
Mission
1. Development of competent students for employability and entrepreneurship. 2. To encourage students to participate in technical competitions. 3. Exposure to the industrial practices. 4. To create a sense of social and environmental concern by inculcating humanitarian and ethical responsibilities.

- PEO 1: Provide students with the fundamental technical knowledge and skills in science, and engineering and to apply these abilities to implement solutions in practice.
