Mission

M1. Development of competent students for employability and entrepreneurship.
M2. To encourage students to participate in technical competitions.
M3. Exposure to the industrial practices.
M4. To create a sense of social and environmental concern by inculcating humanitarian and ethical responsibilities.

Programme Educational Objectives(PEO’s)

  1. PEO 1: Provide students with the fundamental technical knowledge and skills in science, and engineering and to apply these abilities to implement solutions in practice.
  2. PEO 2: Provide students with necessary instructional and practical experience to work effectively in local and international environments and to become effective communicators.
  3. PEO 3: To provide an academic environment that gives adequate opportunity to the students to cultivate lifelong skills needed for a successful professional career.
  4. PEO 4: To inculcate professional and ethical attitude, team work, multidisciplinary approach, entrepreneurial thinking and an ability to relate Mechanical Engineering issues with social issues.

1. Basic & Discipline Specific Knowledge Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and engineering specialization to solve engineering problems

2. Problem Analysis Identify and analyze engineering problems using codified standard methods

3. Design/Development of solutions Design solutions for well defined technical problems and assist with design system components, processes to meet the specific needs

4. Engineering Tools, Experimentations & Testing Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements

5.Engineering Practices for Society, Sustainability & Environment Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment ethical practices

6. Project management Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well defined engineering activities

7. Lifelong learning Ability to analyse individual needs and engaged in updating in the context of technological changes

  2. Manage Manufacturing Process – Manage the manufacturing process by selection and scheduling right type of machinery, equipment, substrates and software for a particular job for economy of operations
